Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming nearly every industry—from healthcare and aerospace to education and business. At Project Joy, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to be part of that future. That’s why we’re committed to equipping youth across the Antelope Valley with the skills, confidence, and career exposure needed to succeed in tomorrow’s workforce.

Our innovative Youth AI Learning Program was created to bridge the gap between local talent and the growing demand for skilled professionals in technology. Through hands-on learning, career exploration, mentorship, and industry connections, Project Joy introduces young people to the exciting world of artificial intelligence, STEM careers, and emerging technologies while building essential workplace and leadership skills.

Located in a region known for aerospace, defense, and technology innovation, the Antelope Valley offers tremendous career opportunities. Yet many young people—particularly those from underserved communities—have historically lacked access to those pathways. Project Joy is changing that by helping youth discover careers in AI, connect with industry professionals, strengthen their resumes, improve interviewing skills, and gain the confidence to pursue high-demand careers.

Our mission extends beyond teaching technology. We are building a stronger workforce development pipeline by empowering youth with career readiness, digital literacy, leadership development, and real-world experiences that prepare them for college, technical training, apprenticeships, and meaningful employment. Whether participants dream of becoming engineers, software developers, entrepreneurs, data analysts, or innovators, Project Joy provides the foundation to help make those dreams a reality.

We’re honored that Spectrum News highlighted our efforts to prepare the next generation of innovators through AI education and workforce development.
